This is all heavy duty stuff used once and been sitting in someone's garage. Check craigslist in your area, buy what you need and than sell it later if you have no room for it.

Upon dissassembly, found main cap bolt threads striped and under tourqued from the remanufacturer. My vote is to stay away and go to a reputible remanufat. in your area.

Dec 1, 2011 · Autozone rent a tool ball joint press. Its been a real PITA. 3 evenings spent trying to remove the lower passenger ball joint. The tool removed the upper ball joint with some effort but the lower one is just plain impossible with this tool. So, This post is a warning to anyone who may be looking for some help. Don't waste your time with this tool.

Mar 4, 2006 · Is it the CEL or is the Service maint light. I believe it's supposed to pop on around 60K to remind you to service the fluids and what not. Absolutely, positively, "CHECK ENGINE". The AutoZone guy was baffled, as if he hadn't seen this happen before (where the CEL is on, but no codes coming from the ECU/PCM).

If you can find any free bolt holes, get a hardened bolt (make sure its long enough and it must be hardened, we dropped an engine before because the bolt was a pos and snapped), and put it through a chain and into the block, thats usually how I do it, not with a 4.0 however. I usually use a small chain ( 3/8 or 5/16) with 2 hooks, wrap one around the alt bracket and I usually put a 3/8 hook with a hole in it around the last head bolt and thread a nut over it, Center the chain hoist to the middle and then start to lift it up, the lift should pull and center itself.
