Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard made something clear after Paul George’s move to the Philadelphia 76ers. The Los Angeles Clippers are gearing up for a comeback this season after a disappointing first-round playoff exit last year.

Paul George, the Sixers’ top free-agent acquisition, initially joked on Friday that the Knicks made a “terrible” trade by sending Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo to the Timberwolves.

The Sixers made their splash with the big addition of Paul George to join Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey while the Knicks added Mikal Bridges early in the summer and now they've added a star big man in the form of Karl-Anthony Towns.

Jokes aside, George gave his honest opinion on the deal. He said the trade will give Jalen Brunson "more space" and allow the "offense to thrive" with KAT at center. George added that the Knicks are "on the rise" like the Sixers and "definitely made a splash with that pickup."
