Former One Direction bandmates Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik reunited for Liam Payne’s funeral in northwest London on Wednesday, People reported. It’s been nearly nine years since One Direction announced an indefinite hiatus, which started in January 2016, per The BBC.

While all of them attended their former bandmate Liam Payne's funeral, some members of One Direction reportedly last reunited for a sad reason.

Payne's family and friends -- including his One Direction bandmates Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan and Harry Styles -- were spotted in attendance at the service, which took place in the United Kingdom, where Payne was born and where his music career began. Simon Cowell, a former judge on "The X-Factor," also attended.
