Kalel Mullings ran for 92 yards and a career-high three touchdowns, leading Michigan to a 50-6 win over Northwestern on Saturday to make the defending national champions eligible for a bowl.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Michigan Wolverines are bowl-eligible after blowing out the Northwestern Wildcats 50-6 on Senior Day. Northwestern opened the battle for the George Jewett Trophy by getting former Wolverines wide receiver A.J. Henning involved with a five-yard catch, but an Aamir Hall interception stalled it.

The Northern Michigan University women’s soccer team was eliminated in the first round of the NCAA Division II national tournament on Friday afternoon, losing to Drury 4-1 in Ashland, Ohio. The Wildcats averted a shutout with an early second-half goal scored by Molly Pistorius that made the score 3-1 at the time.

The Spartans scored in the third minute of overtime on a Mackenzie Anthony goal to advance to the third round of the tournament and send the Longhorns back to Austin. It was Anthony's second goal of the match.
