Honda Power Pack Energy India Private Limited (HEID), announced the beginning of the Honda e:Swap service for the Honda Activa e:

HMSI has introduced a battery swap service for the ACTIVA e through Honda Power Pack Energy India Pvt. Ltd. (HEID). Customers can register through the HEID app to access battery swap stations. The service will expand to Mumbai by April 2025, with 250 stations planned in Bengaluru, 150 in Delhi, and 100 in Mumbai by March 2026.

Price announcement and bookings commencement for the electric Activa will take place on 1 January and deliveries will begin from February, 2025.

Based on the teaser, the Honda Activa electric will have a claimed range of 104 km or more. We can expect the EV to have a 2.5 to 2.8 kWh battery pack. The power from the battery will be utilised by a swingarm-mounted electric motor, a setup very similar to the one seen on Bajaj Chetak and Vida V1.
