LIV Golf’s Sergio Garcia is set to return to the DP World Tour next year, opening up the possibility of him making a record-equaling 11th appearance at the Ryder Cup.

The 44-year-old Spaniard has reapplied for his membership on the DP World Tour, bunkered reported Monday. To be on the European Ryder Cup team, players must have status on the DP World Tour, which Garcia hasn’t had since last May when he resigned.

After paying his fines and planning to serve his suspension, Sergio Garcia may once again play in the Ryder Cup.
