The Democratic National Committee has launched a new voter registration campaign at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Hispanic Serving Institutes (HSIs) in battleground

As the 2024 election nears, the Democratic National Committee, or the DNC, is intensifying efforts to engage young Black voters.

Election on the Horizon, DNC partners with HBCUs and Black media to mobilize voters in key battle ground states.

Jaime Harrison made history in 2013 when he became the first African American to serve as the chair of the South Carolina Democratic Party. Just seven years later, in 2020, Harrison moved up to serve as chair of the Democratic National Committee (DNC).
