The White House is reporting that three Americans who were being held in China are coming home after a deal with President Joe Biden's administration. Both MSNBC and the Washington Post said that there are unconfirmed reports that the release is part of a prisoner swap.

Among those released was Mark Swidan, who had been held in China on disputed drug charges for more than 10 years.

The three are Mark Swidan, Kai Li and John Leung, all of whom had been designated by the U.S. government as wrongfully detained.
