CHARLOTTE — Charlotte FC beat Orlando City FC in a shootout Friday night at Bank of America Stadium for the club’s first-ever home playoff match. It was the team second appearance in postseason play in just its third season in Major League Soccer. Charlotte FC won in penalty kicks 3-1. There were 40,238 people in attendance.
