Army's threads are inspired by the group who famously fought in the "Battle of the Bulge" in the town of Bastogne, Belgium during World War II.

The 101st was tasked with defending Bastogne — which is printed under the right shoulder pad on Army’s jersey — the Belgian town where Germany’s siege began on Dec. 16, 1944. Encircled by Nazi forces, the “Screaming Eagles” endured three weeks of relentless close combat in freezing weather.

Few sports rivalries match the pageantry and tradition of the Army vs. Navy Game and big part of that tradition is the uniforms with both the Black Knights and Midshipmen breaking out a brand new alternate set every year.

The Army-Navy game has become the game for college football. The battle between the heated rivals caps off the regular season in the standalone game, where it seems that everyone has to choose aside. Army recently released the uniforms they will be wearing for the big game, and let me say I may be rooting for the Black Knights.
