Winds of up to 70mph are set to batter coastal areas and as temperatures rise on Saturday, melting snow and heavy rain are causing flooding.

ELECTRICITY North West engineers have restored power to more than 4,000 properties across the region affected by Storm Bert.

There has been major flooding in Killybegs, Co Donegal, while flooding was also reported in Cork, Galway and Limerick.
