The Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition has appeared in a new video that shows off just how much the crease has been minimized.

With foldable phones, there's usually a crease in the interior display where the panel folds in two. In the case of Samsung's past Z Fold models, that crease has been visible, especially when there's a light background on the display.

Trade-in options are available here, although the top-tier Galaxy S24 Ultra is not listed as an option. The highest value Samsung is for the Z Fold 5 at £480, with similar prices for Google and Apple devices on offer.

The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition comes with a 7.99-inch display, the largest that Samsung has put on a foldable. The screen offers 2184 x 1968 (QXGA+) pixels resolution, 2,600 nits of peak brightness, and 120 Hz dynamic refresh rate, beating the Z Fold 6 panel when it comes to its specifications.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 is currently available for Rs. 1,44,999, instead of the original launch price tag of Rs. 1,64,999. The Galaxy Z Flip 6, on the other hand, is priced at Rs. 89,999, instead of the original starting price tag of Rs. 1,09,999. These price tags are available as part of a limited-period festive offer.

Galaxy Club claims that the Galaxy Z Fold 7, which is likely to be released next summer, has been codenamed “Q7”, while the Galaxy Z Flip 7 has been given the working title of “B7”. But there is a codename for one more unknown device: “Q7M”.
