Entergy Texas continues to closely monitor Hurricane Rafael in the Caribbean. The storm made landfall in Cuba as a Category 3 hurricane Wednesday afternoon and has now entered the Gulf of Mexico.
According to the National Hurricane Center, Rafael is currently traveling west toward Mexico. NHC models indicate that conditions in the Gulf will soon slowly turn the storm back south.
