The holiday travel blitz in the Philadelphia region is underway, and travelers are expected to take to the skies and the roads for Thanksgiving. This year, both the Transportation Security Administration and AAA expect record numbers of travelers.

Nearly one million people from the Philadelphia region are expected to travel Tuesday through Monday, which includes planes trains and automobiles.

Packed roads and airports, heavy storms and a strike at one of the country’s busiest airports await travelers this Thanksgiving season.
