Patrick Williams is sidelined again with pain in the same foot that ended his 2023-24 season — but the Chicago Bulls aren’t panicking just yet. After experiencing soreness in his left foot, the fifth-year forward returned to Chicago after Monday’s road win against the Detroit Pistons while the rest of the team traveled to Milwaukee for Wednesday’s game against the Bucks.

Bulls forward Patrick Williams will miss at least the next week as the team waits for inflammation in his surgically repaired foot to calm down. Chicago will also be without guard Lonzo Ball (wrist) for at least another week.

He is experiencing discomfort and inflammation in his left foot. Williams, who had season-ending surgery on it last season, was sent back to Chicago after the win in Detroit for tests.
