A little rain didn’t stop the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade from taking over Manhattan on Thursday. Floats, balloons, marching bands and celebrity performers took over the Big Apple with more than 2 million spectators watching.

Just like the 1st parade in 1924, there were plenty of marching bands and lots of clowns, followed by the grand finale of Santa Claus ushering in the holiday season.
