Vanderbilt's Diego Pavia arrived from New Mexico State as a graduate transfer along with his coach, Jerry Kill, and offensive coordinator, Tim Beck. They've provided a big boost to the Commodores’ offense. Pavia mostly relied on his legs in their first two games, but he threw for a season-high 270 yards and two touchdowns last week.

Luther Burden is making his presence known against Boston College in Week 3. The star wide receiver got open late in the 2nd quarter and made several receivers miss en route to the end zone. The 19-yard score made it a 2-point game before Nate Noel ran in the 2-point conversion to tie it up. This was Burden’s 2nd score of the season.

Despite a Top-25 win at Faurot Field, the Mizzou football team dropped one spot in the latest AP Poll, on Sunday. The Tigers are now ranked No. 7 in the nation after topping then-No. 24 Boston College.

Boston College blew an 11-point lead on the road at Mizzou, losing to the sixth-ranked Tigers 27-21 at Memorial Stadium in Columbia, MO. BC moves to 2-1 under Bill O’Brien in his first season as head coach of the Eagles.
