A Waterbury fifth grader from H.S. Chase Elementary School has been elected to serve as Connecticut's 2025 Kid Governor. Keudy Martinez was announced as the election's winner on Wednesday morning by the Connecticut Democracy Center (CTDC) during a school assembly in Waterbury with the Kid Governor-Elect’s classmates and teachers in attendance.
