The M4 iMac is a nice computer. Apple's addition of 16GB RAM to the basic $1,299 model makes it a whole lot more appealing for the vast majority of people who just want to take the computer out of the box and plunk it on a desk and be done.

The sound quality amps up a notch when you listen to something with Dolby Atmos or Apple's Spatial Audio tech, because the iMac M4 does a decent job of making the audio sound like it's coming from around you instead of in front of you.

The Apple iMac returns with a new chip and a couple of new tricks. However, would it kill Apple to release a 27-inch model already?
