In Elon Musk’s world, AI is the new MD. The X CEO is encouraging users to upload their medical test results—such as CT and bone scans—to the platform so that Grok, X’s artificial intelligence chatbot, can learn how to interpret them efficiently.

Over the past few weeks, users on X have been submitting X-rays, MRIs, CT scans and other medical images to Grok, the platform’s artificial intelligence chatbot, asking for diagnoses. The reason: Elon Musk, X’s owner, suggested it.

To celebrate its new image-understanding capabilities, Elon Musk has encouraged his followers to share medical documents like MRI scans and x-rays with Grok, his AI chatbot integrated into X, formerly Twitter (which he also owns).

It appears that X, formerly Twitter, is making its AI chatbot Grok free to some users. The product has been limited to Premium subscribers thus far, but TechCrunch reports that some users began sharing that they had gained free access over the weekend.
