Rainfall recorded over the weekend and in the forecast for Monday night was sufficient for burn bans to be lifted in Washington, Benton, Madison and Crawford counties.

Several counties in the Delaware Valley have issued burn bans because of the extremely dry conditions the region has been experiencing.

Each county in Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley is currently under a burn ban, which means open burning directly on the ground is not permitted.
