UTEP opened its season with a 102-54 win over Sul Ross, led by strong 3-point shooting and 20 points from newcomer Ahamad Bynum.

Ahamad Bynum scored 20 points off of the bench to help lead the UTEP Miners over the Sul Ross State Lobos 102-55 on Monday. The Miners are now 1-0 on the season.
