The spike in October attendance was one highlight cited by Six Flags executives in their third-quarter earnings call Wednesday, four months after the merger between amusement park giants Cedar Fair and Six Flags.

On Wednesday, Six Flags Entertainment Corporation released its quarterly earnings report roughly detailing a long-range plan called "Project Accelerate," which promised a “comprehensive review of the portfolio to evaluate the potential divestiture of non-core assets to help reduce leverage.”
