Forecasters tracking 2 tropical waves in the Atlantic as hurricane season reaches peak month
On Friday morning, forecasters spotted the system in the Eastern Tropical Atlantic between the west coast of Africa and the Cabo Verde Islands. The tropical wave is causing minimal showers and thunderstorms in the area, NHC forecasters said, and has a 0% chance of developing into a stronger storm within the next two days.
