Green (elbow) is expected to throw a live batting practice session Tuesday, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic reports. Green reported feeling good following a similar throwing session last week. It's possible he returns in time to make two starts before the end of the season.

Williamson left Tuesday's game against Atlanta with a left elbow strain, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports. Williamson suffered the injury after throwing a pitch in the second inning of Tuesday's contest and had to be taken out of the game immediately afterward.
