Tesla stock was down—a little—early Thursday with stock futures hovering up after Nvidia earnings. Shares of the electric-vehicle maker were off 0.2% at $341.26, while futures tracking the S&P 500 and Dow Jones Industrial Average were up about 0.

Shares of the electric-vehicle maker have moved an average of 6%, up or down, each day since the Nov. 5 election.

GE stock has pulled off a feat that leaves Nvidia, Tesla and other Mag 7s in the dust. And that's just one reason to watch the aerospace giant.

U.S. stocks climbed Thursday after market superstar Nvidia and another round of companies said they’re making even fatter profits than expected. The S&P 500 pulled 0.5% higher after flipping between gains and losses several times during the day.

Nvidia's recent Q3 report exceeded Wall Street's high expectations, yet the stock was down. Due to high demand for its Hopper and new Blackwell Superchips, Nvidia is raking in cash. Research suggests short-term dips are normal in a situation like this.

If the still-rapid growth of artificial intelligence isn’t pushing the market higher right now, something else will have to do it.
