It is Week 12 of the North Carolina high school football season, which was added to the schedule in the wake of Tropical Storm Helene and provides an extra gameday for WNC teams to get their final games in.

The fourth round of the NCHSAA state playoffs is here and the cream is rising to the top. Of the 32 teams remaining, 24 are either undefeated or have one loss. That means plenty of marquee matchups. Here’s our take.
