Thousands of people will gather next week to pay tribute to the three deputies who died as the result of a crash Thursday in Loxahatchee.

The third deputy involved in a crash in Loxahatchee, which claimed the lives of two other deputies, died after fighting for his life.

Deputy Ignacio “Dan” Diaz, the third deputy who was struck by a woman driving an SUV on Southern Boulevard last week, died Monday afternoon.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office announced Monday that Deputy Ignacio ‘Dan’ Diaz has passed away, becoming the third fatality from last Thursday’s tragic motorcycle crash.
