UFC President Dana White was in the audience soon after U2 began its highly celebrated run at the Sphere last fall, taking in all that one of the world’s most unique venues has to offer. He watched inside the technological marvel near the Las Vegas Strip that makes full use of its massive high-definition LED screen that was as much a part of the show as the Irish band performing its biggest hits from the past four decades.

UFC CEO Dana White promised a first-of-its-kind sporting experience with UFC 306 at the Sphere in Las Vegas. That experience extended to ticket holders in the venue and the pay-per-view audience watching at home.

It's fight night in the UFC, and for the second year in a row, we'll be seeing the "Noche UFC" in honor of Mexican Independence Day. The event, officially branded as Riyadh Season Noche UFC, will be held in quite a scenic venue: The Sphere in Las Vegas.

Between every fight in the main card, the panel inside the Sphere told the history of Mexico and it's rich combat sports history, with UFC President Dana White calling it a "love letter" to Mexico.

UFC president Dana White said he couldn’t be happier with how UFC 306, the first live sporting event at Sphere, played out Saturday. “The whole thing was seamless; it went perfect,” White said during a postfight news conference.
