Two Paralympians from the Republic of Congo, Mireille Nganga and Emmanuel Grace Mouambako, have reportedly gone missing following their participation in the recently concluded Paris Paralympics 2024.

French judicial authorities are investigating the disappearance of two Paralympic athletes from Congo who recently competed in the Paris Games, the prosecutor’s office in the Paris suburb of Bobigny confirmed on Thursday, September 12.

Congolese athletes Mireille Nganga and sprinter Emmanuel Grace Mouambako, as well as a guide accompanying Mouambako, were reported missing shortly after competing in the 2024 Paralympic Games.

Nganga, who has a leg impairment, and Mouambako, who is visually impaired, were the only two athletes selected to represent Congo in Paris.
