A person was struck and killed on I-25 near Gleneagle late Wednesday morning and police are telling motorists to expect heavy delays. All northbound lanes were closed as of 1 p.m. and only one southbound lane was open.

The Colorado Department of Transportation announced all of northbound I-25 and two left lanes of southbound I-25 were closed near the Baptist Exit for the crash at about 11:30 a.m. Multiple 11 News viewers reported they experienced delays of more than an hour on the northbound side of the highway

A woman was killed in a Sunday evening crash in the 3400 block of North Colorado Boulevard, in Denver’s Park Hill neighborhood, police said.

The Colorado Department of Transportation said I-25 southbound was closed between Exit 158 at Baptist Road to Exit 156 at Northgate Boulevard, just north of Colorado Springs. CDOT said drivers should expect road delays due to the crash, and slower speeds were advised.

A crash on Interstate 25 Tuesday morning has shut down northbound lanes between Baptist Road and Colorado 105.
