Kubota Corporation has announced its acquisition of Bloomfield Robotics, Inc., a Pittsburgh-based company specializing in crop monitoring technology.

Kubota Corporation has invested in Bloomfield Robotics, Inc., a U.S. startup company that uses image analysis technology and AI to assess plant growth and detect pests on grape, blueberry, and other tree crops.

Lawrenceville-based Bloomfield Robotics announced that it has been acquired by Kubota Corporation, an Osaka-headquarterd global tractor manufacturer. Kubota previously led a $4.4 million funding round into the company.
