Several federal and state agencies are investigating how racist mass texts were sent to Black people across the country in the wake of the presidential election this week

Black Minnesota middle school students are receiving racist text messages referencing plantations and slavery. Its part of a nationwide trend.

Thousands of Black residents across several U.S. states reported that they received racist texts the day after the election. The reports have come out of at least 20 states, including California, according to CBS News.
