Update: Containment of Quincy Fire in Butte County grows to 65%
Quincy Fire initially started today at 1:13 p.m. in Butte County. It has burned 90 acres after being active for seven hours, an increase of five acres since the last update. As of Thursday evening, 10% of the fire was brought under containment by a fire crew of 300. However, the cause is still being investigated.
