Heavy snow and rain has led to travel disruption across parts of Yorkshire and warnings of potential flooding as Storm Bert sweeps across the region. Storm Bert is primed to hit the UK this weekend, bringing with it snow, wind and heavy rain. Several weather warnings are in place, including two rare amber alerts, as the Met Office has issued concerns about travel disruption, power cuts and hazards presented by icy surfaces, especially in rural areas.
