Clouds and the chance for showers are going to linger from overnight Wednesday into early Friday. The weekend forecast, however, hinges on the battle between high pressure from Canada to the north and low pressure to the southeast.

Temperatures for today will require a good jacket or a sweater. Highs should climb to mid-level 60°s. Heavy, more consistent rain should fall for our neighbors in central/eastern Montana. Be aware that some highways or local roads may experience water ponding/rockfall/debris flow if you are traveling that direction.

Phoenix has now had 113 triple-digit days in a row. The previous record was 76 consecutive triple-digit days set in August of 1993. That means we have beaten the previous record by over a month!

The rain is finally starting to lessen today, though scattered showers and storms are still likely Wednesday and Thursday.
