Qualcomm lost its bid to get a European Union antitrust penalty thrown out after a top court largely rebuffed the technology company’s arguments in the case involving cellphone chipsets.

Tech giant Qualcomm's attempt to overturn a European Union (EU) antitrust penalty, was dismissed by the General Court today. The case revolves around the company's pricing strategies for mobile phone chipsets.
