Jared McCain has emerged as a bright spot amidst a struggling start for the Philadelphia 76ers. Entering Friday’s slate, where the 76ers will take on the Nets at Wells Fargo Center ( 7 ET, League Pass ), McCain is expected to remain the starting shooting guard alongside Tyrese Maxey in the backcourt.

Despite being without Joel Embiid, who is dealing with swelling in his left knee, the 76ers managed to snap a five-game losing streak Friday against Brooklyn behind another outstanding performance from self-proclaimed "rookie of the year" Jared McCain.

Philadelphia 76ers All-Star center Joel Embiid will miss the team's next few games as he manages swelling in his left knee. Embiid is receiving treatment and his status will be updated early next week.
