Cameron Smith shot a 65 and was tied with first-round leader Elvis Smylie on Saturday at the rain-shortened Australian PGA Championship.

Cameron Smith joined early leader Elvis Smylie at the top of the rain-affected Australian PGA Championship leaderboard in Brisbane ahead of the final round, having hit a six-under par 65 at Royal Queensland Golf Club on Saturday.

Former British Open champion Cameron Smith and Jason Day, back Down Under for the first time in seven years, shot 4-under 67s and were two strokes off the lead midway through the first round of the Australian PGA at Royal Queensland.
