Ohio zoo’s cheetah, which made history with IVF pregnancy, dies of liver disease
COLUMBUS, Ohio — A cheetah at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium who made history by becoming the first to give birth to cubs through embryonic transfer has died because of liver disease. Isabelle, or Izzy, did not respond to treatment for the disease, according to a news release from the zoo.
