NBC News is projecting that Republicans have gotten to 218 seats to win control of the House of Representatives. MSNBC's Steve Kornacki joins Chris Jansing to break it all down.

CBS News projected Wednesday that Republicans will keep their majority in the House, which along with control of the Senate, will make it easier for President-elect Donald Trump to fill his Cabinet posts and potentially fulfill his legislative agenda.

Republicans will keep control of the House of Representatives, giving President-elect Donald Trump’s party a powerful trifecta of control over the White House and both chambers of Congress. NBC News and CBS News projected Republicans' razor-thin majority on Wednesday with the GOP picking up at least 218 seats to Democrats' 211.

The GOP won control over the White House and Senate in last week’s election, but whether they will also control the House — creating a Republican trifecta — is unclear for now. As of Tuesday night, The Associated Press still hadn’t called about a dozen races,
