People in one of the largest metropolitan areas of the country are enjoying a new service from Amazon that seems like something out of “The Jetsons” – delivery drones.

Customers can request eligible items be delivered by a drone. The delivery method costs $9.99 for Prime members and $14.99 for other customers.

Amazon said the Federal Aviation Administration’s approval includes permission to fly the MK30 over longer distances and beyond the visual line of sight of pilots.
