Body camera footage shows an officer fatally shooting a Black man who was struggling with a woman over a knife. The man had called the police for help.

A man who was fatally shot by Las Vegas police after calling 911 during a home invasion pleaded for officers to arrive “ASAP,” fearing that a trespasser was “going to kill everybody.”

The man whom a Las Vegas police officer shot and killed had called 911 the night before to have authorities trespass the person who would later break into his home and confront him with a knife, prompting his death.

Brandon Durham, 43, of Las Vegas, died at the home on Tuesday, Nov. 12. Police said he was pronounced deceased at a hospital a short time thereafter.
