Jeremy Swayman made 23 saves as the Bruins followed up Saturday's shutout in Philadelphia with another at home.

The Bruins netted their second shutout in as many days in a win over the Kraken that also saw David Pastrnak benched for a whole period.

Sunday was not the first time Montgomery held his leaders in check; Bruins captain Brad Marchand committed a turnover that led to a Utah Hockey Club goal, which happened to be overturned, in Boston’s 2-1 overtime loss Oct. 19. After the play, Montgomery was spotted yelling at Marchand on the bench.

David Pastrnak takes accountability after he was benched for the entire third period vs. the Seattle Kraken on Sunday. Pastrnak was credited with two giveaways through two periods, one that led to a scoring chance for the Kraken while they were short-handed.

The Boston Bruins superstar spoke to the media after practice Monday and made it clear that he wants to take accountability for his own mistakes after head coach Jim Montgomery chose to bench him in the third period against the Seattle Kraken.
