Hoyeon of Squid Game has joined Theo James in The Hole, the new film from I Saw the Devil director Kim Jee-Woon

James will star in 'The Hole' as a professor living in South Korea that has the dark secrets of his marriage revealed to his mother-in-law.

SAG Award winner and Emmy nominee Hoyeon ("Squid Game," "Disclaimer") will star opposite Theo James in Kim Jee-woon's “The Hole.” The Veterans is representing international rights on the film and is introducing it to buyers at the AFM.

Hoyeon and Theo James will star in The Hole, inspired by the Hye-young Pyun novel. James will stars as Owen, a professor recovering from a deadly crash in South Korea. Hoyeon will portrays Sandy, his wife who died in the wreck.
