(Reuters) - Federal Communications Commission Chair Jessica Rosenworcel said on Wednesday she will step down from the agency that oversees U.S. telecommunications companies on Jan. 20 when Donald Trump assumes the presidency.

Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel has confirmed she will leave the US telecoms regulator in January. In an announcement, Rosenworcel said she will depart on January 20, 2025, the same date that Donald Trump is set to begin his second term as US President.
