It seems likely that both will be involved at Goodison Park on Saturday at 3pm when the Toffees host the Bees, though.

The pair have both been nursing injuries in recent weeks, with Branthwaite withdrawing from the England squad due to a “minor” groin problem and McNeil having missed Everton’s 0-0 draw at West Ham before the break with a knee issue.

Having Harrison and McNeil back out wide should boost both full backs and allow them to get forward more, in turn creating more space for them, all without huge defensive sacrifices. Idrissa Gueye and Abdoulaye Doucoure are then my defensive core in the middle that free up Ndiaye to have a roaming role behind Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
