GM recalling trucks for falling-open tailgates (again)
GM is telling owners to ensure the tailgate is fully closed and latched before driving; but it has a fix for the problem, too, a new switch assembly better at keeping water out. Owners of affected vehicles will be notified and asked to bring their truck into the dealer for the free repair.
