A shelter in place was in effect at Fairleigh Dickinson’s Florham Campus in Madison late Wednesday night as police were searching for a person possibly armed with a gun. “Stay inside the building away from windows and doors,” an alert posted on the university’s social media sites stated. “If outside, find shelter immediately.”
