ESPN released their FPI rankings following Week 3 and the Georgia Bulldogs have fallen from the No. 1 spot. After a rough 13-12 win over the Kentucky Wildcats, many media outlets, including Joel Klatt, dropped the Bulldogs down in their respective rankings.

The No. 1 college football team in the nation wasn't the top team in Week 2 ESPN FPI rankings, and now the Georgia Bulldogs have fallen even further. They escaped a close game in Lexington, Kentucky on Saturday night running out the clock on the Kentucky Wildcats in a 13-12 win.

Following their Week 3 bye, ESPN updated their SP+ rankings heading into Week 4 (subscription required). Clemson ranked No. 21 here, with the No. 22 ranked offense and No. 31 ranked defense. The Tigers are the third-highest-ranked ACC team, with Miami flying up to No. 9 and Louisville at No. 16.

Kansas State is currently the highest Big 12 team when it comes to the College Football Playoff ranking predictions. That means that they’d be in line for the fourth seed despite being ranked 10th overall. At the same time, there’s plenty of season left to either prove themselves as being better than that or to get caught by another Big 12 school.
